Schools Fundraising
Schools nationwide join the fundraising scheme by Star Foundation through recycling, with access to some amazing ambassadors the foundation is not only about handing over a cheque for unwanted items, on launching with your school we will bring along one of our ambassadors giving your pupils role models from local to international ability. Council Kerbside Collection
Recently launched with East Staffordshire Borough Council is our kerbside collection of unwanted clothing and textiles, the bags are collected by a Star Foundation van on your recycling day with the councils Blue and Brown bins. The money raised will be used to provide FREE swimming sessions to 3-15 year old within the borough we are looking to launch this in February 2012. Pete Youngman Fund
Pete Youngman Fund has been set up to help young musicians across the Midlands and Nationwide. With our instrument and equipment ammenesty giving life back to unwanted instruments left underneath the bed or in the cupboard, the fund will put on workshops to teach young people how to refurbish and maintain their equipment. We will then be looking to hire out at very low cost to individuals, youth groups and schools the instruments and equipment giving young people an opportunity to experience music.

Through the Star Foundation recycling fundraising campaigns more young people have greater opportunities, enabling them the freedom to enjoy a whole range of sporting and creative activities, including Music, Arts Media within school’s and community led projects nationwide.
Through the collective efforts of the community, the funds generated through our recycling campaigns will
create new opportunities within sport, general exercise, and the arts for young people from a multitude of backgrounds making their dreams and ambitions more affordable and obtainable. Again, this instills levels of confidence and self worth that enables them to aspire to a productive and positive future. Teamwork only works if the individuals concerned are true to themselves and those around them, which will create a much greater social focus and awareness.
